Maggie Peterson, LMSW
Maggie Peterson, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to supporting women through all phases of life, including infertility, postpartum challenges, and major life transitions. She also has extensive experience working with children and teens experiencing anxiety and depression, helping them navigate the unique challenges of growing up.
Maggie’s therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients feel heard and validated. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals gain deeper self-understanding and develop practical tools for managing life’s challenges.
Using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Maggie empowers her clients to recognize their inner resilience and build confidence in their ability to heal and grow. She is committed to walking alongside each individual as they explore new ways of coping, processing emotions, and embracing personal growth.
Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
