Laura’s wealth of clinical experience has developed into a counseling practice that is rich with wisdom, connection, clinical skill and is based in research.

Laura graduated from Washburn University (Kansas) with her Masters degree in Social Work. She has been practicing in the field for over 15 years helping families and individuals walk through life’s changes and rebuild connections along the way.

Laura understands that each person is individual and needs an intervention tailored to them. She is skilled in a range of evidence informed and research based approaches in her practice including CBT, IFS, ACT, SFT and mindfulness.

In addition to a full time clinical practice Laura teaches part time at the University of Kansas. Laura offers community awareness training and consultations in the areas of trauma, community disaster and managing conflict. Laura has received specialized training in the study of clinical supervision from Portland State University and offers supervision to those seeking clinical licensure.
