Laura Holden brings over 15 years of clinical experience to her counseling practice, which is rooted in wisdom, connection, and evidence-based approaches. She is committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s transitions while fostering resilience and rebuilding meaningful connections.
Laura earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Washburn University in Kansas and has since dedicated her career to providing compassionate, research-informed therapy. She tailors her interventions to each client’s unique needs, utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and mindfulness practices.
In addition to her full-time clinical practice, Laura is a part-time instructor at the University of Kansas. She is also deeply engaged in community education, offering training and consultation on trauma, disaster response, and conflict management. With specialized training in clinical supervision from Portland State University, Laura provides supervision to professionals seeking clinical licensure.
Laura’s personal and professional journey is shaped by both her Midwestern roots and the openness of the Pacific Northwest, where she spent nearly a decade living along the Oregon Coast. She integrates these diverse perspectives into her practice, creating a warm, grounded, and insightful therapeutic space.
